Juaso gets Legal Aid Office
The leadership of the Asante-Akim South Municipal Assembly has commissioned the office of the Municipal Legal Aid Commission at Juaso.

This is in fulfillment of the vision of President Akufo-Addo to offer free legal services, support, and advice to needy and vulnerable people.

In an interview with Ghanadistricts.com, the Municipal Chief Executive, Mr. Alexander Frimpong, indicated that "leadership of assemblies is not only limited to building physical infrastructure. We also have the responsibility to protect our citizenry, especially the vulnerable". He advised people in the Municipality to make good use of the office.


The new office was furnished by Professor Ken Attafuah, a legal Person and a native of Juaso. Professor Attafuah expressed that, this is his own little way of giving back to his municipality.

The chiefs and people were happy for such a gesture. They expressed that the people who hitherto found it very hard to assess legal services when they had issues can now assess it free. They thanked the leadership of the Municipal Assembly for strengthening and bringing state institutions closer to them.


Mr. Frimpong stated this in his interview that, The Asante-Akim South Legal Aid office is the second one in the Ashanti Region after the Regional office in Kumasi.
