Ashanti Mampong MP donates tricycles to four remote communities

The Ashanti Mampong Member of Parliament, Hon. Kwaku Ampratwum Sarpong has donated 4 tricycles worth GHC30,000.00 to four remote communities in his constituency.

Among the beneficiary communities were Atta Akora, Atonsuagya, Atonobi and Mpeso.

Explaining the rationale behind the donations, the legislature stated that, he visited the aforementioned communities during the 2016 campaign season and saw that the pupils in the communities were footing for some kilometers before they could reach their schools, and saw that to be something pathetic.

According to him, he promised them tricycles to aid them in their transportation to get the pupils off that pathetic situation.

"So the tricycles I have provided is just to honor the promise I made during the campaign season", he added.

Mr. Alale Issifu who received the tricycle on behalf of the Atta Akura community eulogized the MP for extending his benevolence to them and appealed passionately to the government to grade their road network to enable them ply their agriculture trade effectively.
