Nsawam township roads take shape

As part of the inner city development project, work is progressing steadily on the re-development of the Nsawam central market as part of efforts to help improve buying and selling in the area.

Contractors were busy and work seriously ongoing when Ghanadistricts TV visited the site to have firsthand information on the actual work of the re-development project.

The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE)of the area, Mr. Isaac Kwadjo Buabeng, who spoke off camera justified the intervention made by the assembly to improve the market environment, stressing that apart from being the main place for buying and selling, the market remains the major source of the people’s, livelihood especially women.

He also indicated that asphalt overlay on some road networks within the Nsawam town would begin soon to enhance both the movement of vehicles and economic activities.
