KEEA: Stakeholders urged to take keen interest in Town Hall Meetings
The Municipal Co-ordinating Director (MCD) of Komenda-Edina-Eguafo-Abrem (KEEA), Mr Daniel Osei-Asibey, has urged stakeholders to participate fully in all Town Hall Meetings, since it provides the opportunity for them to make inputs into various policies and programmes of the government.

According to him, Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies (MMDAs) always resort to Town Hall Meetings to involve the people in local governance, especially in key areas such as fee-fixing resolution, budget preparation, medium term development plans, and execution of plans.
“Town Hall Meetings also enable policy makers, businesses, civil society organisations and the citizenry engage each other and dialogue on how to work together to achieve the desired goals”, the MCD noted.
