KETU N: DCE touches inmates of Dzodze Police Station on Xmas day

District Chief Executive of the Ketu North District in the Volta Region, Anthony Avorgbedor, his wife and some government officials made a rare visit to the inmates of the Dzodze District Police Station on Christmas Day and spent time with them.

The visit is in direct relations to the love shown this world and mankind by God, when he gave his only begotten son Jesus to come and redeem the world from sin.

Therefore choosing 25th of December, the day Jesus Christ was born was in the right direction to prove to the inmates that though they may have found erred there is still room for repentance and show of love by the people.

As such the DCE and his entourage expressed their love to the inmates by interacting with them and also shared some foods and drinks with them.

Mr. Avorgbedor thus admonished them to be good citizens because God has plans for them and this is not where they belong, adding they have positive roles to play in contributing to the development of the nation as such they should not lose hope and God's purpose in their lives will definitely come to pass in Jesus name, he said.

According to him, after going through all these, they should live a good life so that they can be accepted back into the society, he added.
