N JUABEN S: MCE hands over motorbikes
On June 10, 2019, the Municipal Chief Executive, Isaac Appaw – Gyasi of the New Juaben South Municipal Assembly has officially handed over fifty - one (51) motorbikes to the Presiding Member (PM), Micheal Boadi – Sarpong to be distributed to individual Assembly Members of the various electoral areas across the south municipality.

The MCE said these motorbikes were given to them by the government to aid and facilitate the movement to their various communities to fasten development. He advised that, they should not use the motorbike for their private works but rather use them concerning the local government structure.

He continued to say that, ‘‘I believe that Assembly members are working hard and I know that once these motorbikes are being given out, they are going to increase efforts from grace to grace’’. He thanked the President Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo - Addo and the Minister for local government Hajia Alima Mahama.



The Presiding Member thanked the President, the Vice President, the Regional Minister, the Minister for Local government and rural development and the Municipal Chief Executive for the kind gesture and promised to make good use of the motorbikes.

The Municipal Chief Executive, the Municipal Coordinating Director, the Presiding Member and some Assembly members were present at the handing over ceremony.
