Adaklu Assembly promotes revitalization of coconut production project
The Adaklu District Assembly as part of the coconut revitalization project in the Volta Region has received 1,536 coconut seedlings from the Ghana Export Promotion Authority (GEPA) for distribution to twelve farmers in the district.

The District Chief Executive of the area, Donkor Kadey who received the seedlings from the Volta Regional Minister, Dr. Yao Letsa indicated that the initiative is to support the Association to expand coconut production in the country and increase export volumes by addressing and strengthening supply chains of exportable products.



Volta Regional Minister, Dr. Yao Letsa stated that the project is aligned with the government’s vision of industrialization, pillared on a strong agricultural sector.

Mr. Donkor Kadey said the assembly is currently nursing two hundred thousand (200,000) cashew seedlings which will be distributed to interested farmers at no cost.
