The Assembly projects included, rehabilitation of existing toilet facilities, clearing of refuse heaps close to human settlement to ensure proper sanitation and good health. Others were school blocks, construction and mechanization of bole-holes, support to the various communities in the form of cement to embark on self - help projects through the Assembly members, re-roofing of school blocks that were ripped off by rain storm in communities such as Abenwoha SDA primary and JHS, Kosane M/A JHS, Yawbofokrom basic school among others.

On security, the MCE, said no nation or community can thrive without proper security, for this reason the assembly has erected several street lights at vantage points identified to be crime prone areas to ward off criminals. The police and the military have also been supported to offer maximum protection in the municipality.

He emphasized that sanitation has been one of major challenges faced by the assembly but he has been able to renovate about 10 public places of convenience for which hitherto were difficult to use by the public. He told the gathering that he has been able to evacuate two disturbing refuse heaps in the Dormaa township and was on the verge to relocate the final disposal site to pave way for better hygiene in the municipality. He therefore appealed to Nananom to offer the Assembly a land to relocate the final disposal site which greets visitors when entering Dormaa.

On funding , the MCE told the gathering that the assembly's major source of funding for its activities is the District Assembly's Common Fund (DACF) but this does not come regularly and promptly as expected and this has slow down the execution of projects.
He said the other additional source of income for the Assembly is internally generated fund (IGF) but this has been suffered greatly because many people refuse to honour their tax obligation. He advised business operators to regularly pay their taxes because central gov’t base on the IGF to allocate the Common Fund.

The MCE told the gathering that even though the Assembly earns little but has been able to train some youth with entrepreneurship skills to open up their own businesses and others have been supported in diverse ways to expand their shops.

He added that the assembly has prepared by-laws yet to be gazetted to pave way for it to prosecute tax defaulters and other offences.

On health, the MCE, briefed the gathering that a sound mind resides in a healthy body and for that reason the assembly supported the municipal health directorate to distribute over 10,000 mosquito bed nets to people in the municipality and most especially the expectant mothers to help prevent malaria and child mortality.

He assured the gathering that plans were far advance to extend electricity to some communities that still lacks power to enjoy free flow of electric current.
