Mpasatia benefits from Valco Trust Fund

The Member of Parliament for Atwima Mponua Constituency, Hon. Isaac Kwame Asiamah, Ag. CEO of VALCO Trust Fund, Mr. Kelvin Kwaku Yeboah, DCE for Atwima Mponua, Hon. Isaac Kofi Marfo, and the Mpasatiahene, Nana Okyere Karikari Apau II, commissioned an ultra modern KG Block on Wednesday 6th September, 2023 at Mpasatia in Atwima Mponua district.

The purpose of the edifice is to provide a serene and enabling environment for the young ones who are the future leaders. It’s also in line with the vision of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo to eradicate all schools under trees across the country. Atwima Mponua district is among the only 11 beneficiary districts in Ashanti region.

Hon. Asiamah in his address, appreciated Nana Karikari Appau II and the good people of Mpasatia for their support in ensuring the successful completion of the project since its commencement in April. He also leveraged on the opportunity to express his gratitude to the NPP government whose generosity has also given Mpasatia tarred road and many other projects. “A 2 storey dormitory, an 18 unit classroom block, a fully furnished library and host of others are my works in the community of Mpasatia” he maintained.

Hon. Asiamah thanked his good old friend Mr. Yeboah, the Ag. CEO of VALCO Trust fund for the great edifice that will have massive positive impact on the nation’s educational development. “When I called on your office for this gesture, you never hesitated to extend your olive branch of goodness to me and my people and we truly appreciate your gesture” he stated.

Mr. Kelvin thanked the people of Mpasatia for their warm reception and also charged everyone to the maintenance of the edifice to always have it in good shape for longevity whiles serving it purpose. He assured them of working in close collaboration with the MP and the community for more developmental infrastructure and other needs.


Hon. Isaac Kofi Marfo, in his speech called on everyone, especially the school authorities to inculcate in them the practice of maintenance culture. “I also used the opportunity to thank the NPP government led by H. E Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo and his able Vice for investing in the future of this country through the prioritization of educational infrastructure development and Free Senior High School” he stated.

Nana Okyere Karikari Apau II, thanked the MP for his immense service to the constituency. He recounted the many benefits the community has received from the NPP Government and the MP which he claims are unprecedented in the history of the community.
