Team from Nevada State visits Cape Coast
A delegation from Nevada State in the United States of America yesterday visited the Cape Coast Metropolis in the Central Region.

The group is an advance team sent to prepare grounds for the smooth and safety arrival of Nevada State Governor, Mr Brian Edward Sandoval, who is scheduled to visit Africa later this year.

At a meeting with Assembly official and some officials of the Cape Coast University (UCC), Director of International Trade at the Economic Development of Nevada State and leader of the delegation, Mr Jarad Van Wagoner, explained that the group was in Cape Coast to also explore areas for future collaboration in the areas of business and education.

He was optimistic that the visit will yield positive results by strengthening business ties between the two cities.

Present at the short were, Professor Kofi Awusabo-Asare, a Director of Cape Coast Development Company Limited, Miss Dorcass Hutchful Aidoo, A Deputy Director of the Cape Cape Assembly Richmond Yeboah, Metro Investment Coordinator and Public Relations Officer (PRO).

The rest include Professor Joseph Ampiah Ghartey, Vice Chancellor of UCC, Mr John Kofi Nyan Registrar of UCC and Professor Mrs Rosemond Boohen, Director of the Center for International Education.
