Banda Ahenkro Health Centre to be upgraded into Polyclinic

The Banda District Assembly is working closely and diligently with management of the Banda District Health Directorate to upgrade the Banda Ahenkro Health Centre into a Polyclinic.

This was disclosed by the District Chief Executive, Mary Konneh at the second ordinary meeting of the Assembly.

She said the health of the people is paramount, as such the assembly is collaborating with the Health Directorate to ensure the lives of the people are saved. “Our health is our wealth. It is a great pleasure to mention that the Banda District Health Directorate is working hard to save the lives of our people”

She noted that, upgrading the health centre into a polyclinic will help response better to critical health issues of the people as the upgrade comes with additional medical facilities.

The DCE also added that in view of improving health delivery in the district, the District Assembly has already supported the Directorate to set up a functional laboratory for Sabiye Health facility.
