During the inspection, the MP urged contractors executing the projects to prioritise the involvement of local residents, particularly the youth, by providing them with employment opportunities.

He emphasised that development should go beyond the provision of physical infrastructure to include meaningful opportunities for residents to improve their livelihoods through employment and skills development.

According to him, engaging local people in the execution of development projects would enable them to acquire valuable skills, earn incomes and directly benefit from projects being undertaken in their communities.

Hon. Kumah stressed that local participation and job creation must remain integral components of development, adding that the people of Kintampo deserve projects that not only improve infrastructure but also create sustainable economic opportunities.

He expressed his commitment to working with contractors and relevant stakeholders to ensure that the development agenda of the constituency translates into tangible benefits for residents.
