Akrofuom MP and DCE Present Driver’s Licences to 50 Motorcyclists

The Member of Parliament (MP) for Akrofuom Constituency, Hon. Joseph Azumah, and the District Chief Executive (DCE), Hon. Gariba Mustapha Mohammed, have jointly presented driver’s licences to 50 motorcyclists in the district.

The initiative forms part of efforts by the two leaders to regularise the operations of motorcyclists in the district and ensure that riders have the necessary knowledge, skills and legal authorisation to operate on public roads safely.

At a brief ceremony to present the licences to the beneficiaries, Hon. Azumah said efforts were underway to regularise the operations of motorcyclists in the district, with the aim of making the initiative a model for other districts to emulate.
