Hon. Samuel Somuah warns beneficiaries to use farming inputs for intended purpose to boost food security
The items—including 1,500 bags of fertilisers, cutlasses, and Wellington boots—are being rolled out as part of national agricultural policies designed to strengthen food security across the Ashanti North region.

Speaking to Ghanadistricts.com correspondent, Hon. Somuah stressed that President John Dramani Mahama and Agric Minister Hon. Eric Opoku are fully committed to supporting local farmers. He urged beneficiaries to apply the inputs promptly, emphasising that they are strictly not for sale.
"This is the right time for farmers to make use of these supplies," he said. "I am very grateful to the Agric Minister and His Excellency John Dramani Mahama for remembering the farmers in the Sekyere Central District."
