The vehicles were procured using the Assembly’s internally generated resources, highlighting its efforts to mobilise and efficiently utilise local revenue for critical development and administrative needs.

The development is particularly notable as the last time the Ho Municipal Assembly purchased vehicles through its own IGF was in 2012. The latest acquisition, therefore, represents a return to internally funded investment in essential operational equipment after more than a decade.

The two Mitsubishi pickups are expected to support the Assembly’s monitoring and supervision activities, project inspections, revenue mobilisation, field operations and other essential municipal functions.

The acquisition is being viewed as an indication of improved financial management and resource mobilisation, while reflecting the Assembly’s commitment to investing in equipment that will enhance operational efficiency and support development within the Ho Municipality.
