Birim Central hosts maiden business and investment forum

The Birim Central Municipal Assembly has successfully held the maiden edition of the Birim Central Business and Investment Forum at the Methodist Conference Hall in Akim Oda, bringing together key stakeholders from the public and private sectors to explore investment opportunities and foster sustainable economic development.

The forum provided a platform for discussions on attracting investment, strengthening partnerships, and unlocking the economic potential of the municipality. Participants engaged in meaningful conversations aimed at creating a thriving business environment and accelerating local economic growth.

The event was chaired by His Royal Majesty, Oseadeyo Dr. Frimpong Manso IV, Omanhene of the Akyem Kotoku Traditional Area.

It was attended by several distinguished guests, including Dr. Ishmael Nii Dodoo, Chief Director of the 24-Hour Economy Secretariat at the Office of the President, representatives from the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Agribusiness, the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC), the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO), the Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT), as well as municipal officials, heads of departments, traditional leaders, entrepreneurs, investors, and other stakeholders.

Speaking at the forum, the Municipal Chief Executive for Birim Central, Hon. Solomon Kusi Brako, highlighted the municipality’s enormous economic potential and extended an invitation to investors to take advantage of the vast opportunities available in the area.

He reiterated the Assembly’s commitment to creating an enabling environment for businesses to flourish, generate employment, and contribute significantly to local development.

Mr Solomon Kusi Brako also expressed his appreciation to all participants, partners, and stakeholders whose support and contributions ensured the success of the inaugural forum. He emphasized that the event marks a significant step towards positioning Birim Central as an investment-friendly municipality and a hub for sustainable economic growth.

The successful hosting of the maiden Business and Investment Forum underscores the Assembly’s vision of building a stronger, more prosperous Birim Central through strategic partnerships, innovation, and investment.
