The tour focused on the active section stretching from Atua to Odumase Junction, allowing the MCE to assess the progress of the work firsthand.

During the visit, Hon. Matey closely observed the compaction process, which he described as the critical foundation needed to build a durable road.

He also engaged the site engineer to address key technical challenges encountered during construction. The collaborative briefing allowed them to map out practical and timely solutions to keep the project on track.

"Together, we discussed practical and timely solutions to ensure the project meets all required engineering standards and delivers long-term value for our people," Hon. Matey said.

The completion of the Atua–Odumase Junction stretch is expected to significantly ease traffic, improve safety, and boost economic activities within the municipality.
