In an interview with Ghanadistricts.com, Former Assembly Member for Brekuso, Hon. Samuel Appiah, made the appeal on behalf of residents, stating that successive governments have made promises to rehabilitate the road, but little has been done.

According to Hon. Appiah, the poor condition of the road has created serious difficulties for residents, particularly commuters who depend on vehicles to get to work and other daily activities. He said the lack of reliable transportation has also contributed to a decline in economic activities in the area.

He further noted that the dust generated by vehicles using the road is causing health concerns among residents and called on the government to intervene immediately.

Hon. Appiah urged the government to treat the rehabilitation of the Dome–Kitase road as a matter of urgency, stressing that residents have endured the situation for too long and need concrete action rather than further promises.
