The exercise saw residents, sanitation workers, and stakeholders desilt gutters, sweep major streets, and clear waste from public spaces in an effort to improve cleanliness and reduce the risk of flooding and disease outbreaks across the municipality.

The Municipal Chief Executive for the Assembly Ransford Owusu Boakye expressed appreciation to the Chief Director of the Eastern Regional Coordinating Council for participating in and supporting the exercise. Gratitude was also extended to the Municipal Security Agencies, the Eastern Regional Health Directorate, Traditional Authorities, Assembly Members, sanitation workers, staff of the New Juaben South Municipal Assembly, and residents whose collective efforts ensured the success of the initiative.

The Assembly commended the strong collaboration and civic responsibility displayed by participants, describing the exercise as a demonstration of the community's commitment to maintaining a clean and healthy environment.

Residents have been encouraged to sustain the momentum by making environmental cleanliness a daily responsibility rather than limiting it to organised clean-up campaigns, as the municipality continues to promote good sanitation practices and community participation.
