Assembly, MP and Residents Join Hands to Keep Bawjiase Clean

The Awutu Senya District Assembly, led by the District Chief Executive, Eghan Kalala Nyamekye, in collaboration with the District Coordinating Director, Samuel Antwi Bosiako, and the Member of Parliament, Gizella Tetteh-Agbotui, successfully organized the May edition of the District Sanitation Day exercise at Bawjiase.

The exercise brought together assembly members, sanitation officers, community leaders, residents, and other stakeholders who actively participated in cleaning major streets, public spaces, and drains within the township. The initiative formed part of ongoing efforts by the Assembly to promote environmental cleanliness, improve public health, and encourage residents to adopt proper sanitation practices.

Speaking during the exercise, the District Chief Executive commended residents for their massive turnout and dedication toward keeping the community clean.
