As part of the visit, Mr. Ngamije held discussions with the Presiding Member, Hon. Patrick Kwame Frimpong, and praised the Assembly for approving the resolution that underpins the implementation of the project. He also attended a meeting of the Environmental Health Sub-Committee, where he observed the Assembly’s governance and decision-making processes.

The engagement enabled both KMA and PHC to evaluate progress made so far, identify challenges, and review strategies for 2026 and 2027 to ensure the effective implementation of healthier food policies across the metropolis.

Mr. Ngamije was received by the Metro Coordinating Director, Mr. Francis Dwira Darko, on behalf of the Mayor, Hon. Richard Kwasi Ofori Boadi Agyemang.
