The initiative is aimed at strengthening technology-based teaching and learning while giving pupils greater access to Information and Communication Technology (ICT) education and essential digital skills needed to thrive in an increasingly technology-driven world.
Speaking at the commissioning ceremony, Mrs. Esther Jones Safo, Municipal Education Director, underscored the growing importance of ICT in modern education and encouraged stakeholders to continue supporting initiatives that expose young learners to technology from an early age.
The Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Akwetey Agbo, also highlighted the importance of partnerships between institutions and development stakeholders in addressing educational and developmental needs within the municipality.
The newly commissioned facility is expected to provide pupils and teachers with a more conducive environment for technology-based learning, while contributing to efforts to improve the quality of education in the municipality.
The collaboration between GCB Bank PLC and the Ga North Municipal Assembly reflects a shared commitment to expanding educational opportunities and equipping the next generation with the digital knowledge and skills required for the future.
