The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Kintampo South, Hon. Zuuri Wilfred, together with the Member of Parliament for Kintampo South, Hon. Felicia Adjei, has renewed efforts to support schools and create a conducive environment for teaching and learning within the district.

On the first day of school, Hon. Zuuri Wilfred presented a package of support items to the Kintampo South Education Directorate on behalf of the Member of Parliament.

The items included exercise books, biscuits, soft drinks and an undisclosed amount of financial support, intended to complement the efforts of the Education Directorate and schools as pupils return to classrooms for the new academic year.

The gesture, according to the district, demonstrates the MP’s continued commitment to supporting education and contributing to the broader development of the Kintampo South constituency.

Hon. Zuuri Wilfred also joined officials of the Education Directorate on a monitoring visit to selected schools across the district to observe the reopening process and interact with teachers and pupils.

The visit provided an opportunity to gain first-hand insight into the needs and challenges confronting schools and to identify areas requiring further attention and support.

Education remains a key priority for the Kintampo South District Assembly, with the Assembly pledging to continue working closely with the Education Directorate, teachers, parents, community leaders and other stakeholders to strengthen teaching and learning.

The renewed collaboration between the DCE and MP signals a shared commitment to investing in children today to build a stronger and more prosperous Kintampo South tomorrow.
