The two-day exercise brought together government officials, Assembly staff, security agencies, traditional authorities, Assembly Members, youth groups, waste management companies, and residents to clean various parts of the municipality. Hon. Alfredos Nii Anyetei toured several operational sites, interacting with participants and encouraging residents to make environmental cleanliness a shared responsibility.

The first day featured the participation of H.E. President John Dramani Mahama, who joined residents at Tse Addo for the exercise. He was accompanied by the Minister for Local Government, Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs, Hon. Ahmed Ibrahim, the Greater Accra Regional Minister, Hon. Linda Obenewaa Akweley Ocloo, and other government officials. The MCE and Assembly officials welcomed the delegation and coordinated activities within the municipality.

Security agencies, including the Ghana Police Service, Ghana Armed Forces, Ghana National Fire Service, Ghana National Ambulance Service, Ghana Prisons Service, Ghana Immigration Service, and other national security institutions, supported the exercise by maintaining safety and assisting with operations.

Clean-up activities were carried out at key locations such as Tse Addo, Giffard Road, the Aviation Area, the 37 Military Hospital–Shangri-La stretch, the Accra Mall enclave, Borla Junction, Agyeman Drain, Koliko Drain, Adobetor (Kojo Sardine Area), and the La Traditional Council Beach Road. Participants desilted drains, swept streets, cleared weeds, removed refuse, and cleaned flood-prone areas, with excavators and tipper trucks deployed to support waste evacuation.

The Environmental Health Department, together with waste management companies, ensured the timely collection and disposal of refuse while educating residents on proper sanitation and flood prevention practices.

The exercise led to cleaner communities, improved drainage, increased public awareness on sanitation, and strengthened collaboration between the Assembly and residents.
