The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Assin South, Hon. Jonathan Birikorang, oversaw the completion of the projects, which comprise a Community-based Health Planning and Services (CHPS) compound at Nkubem and a three-unit classroom block with an office and store at Adiembra.

The completion of the CHPS compound at Nkubem is expected to improve access to basic healthcare services for residents in the community and surrounding areas. The facility will help bring essential healthcare services closer to residents, particularly those who would otherwise have to travel longer distances to access medical attention.

In the education sector, the completed three-unit classroom block at Adiembra is expected to provide pupils and teachers with an improved environment for teaching and learning. The facility, which includes an office and store, will also support school administration and the effective management of educational activities.

The two projects were identified as legacy projects, reflecting the Assembly's efforts to complete outstanding development works and ensure that resources committed to public infrastructure translate into usable facilities for communities.

The interventions form part of the Assembly's broader development agenda, which prioritises improvements in healthcare, education and other essential social infrastructure. The completion of the facilities is expected to benefit residents of Nkubem and Adiembra by strengthening access to basic services and addressing infrastructure needs within the communities.

The Assin South District Assembly has reiterated its commitment to completing outstanding projects and implementing development initiatives that respond to the needs of residents. Through these interventions, the Assembly continues to pursue improvements in social service delivery and the provision of essential infrastructure across the district.
