Kwahu Afram Plains North DCE Supports Youth Empowerment Through YEA Skills Training Equipment Distribution

The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Kwahu Afram Plains North, Hon. Kate Mawusi Babanawo, has joined the Youth Employment Agency (YEA) in distributing tools and equipment to beneficiaries of its Skills Training Programme at Donkorkrom Main Station.

The initiative is aimed at equipping young people with the necessary tools and resources to establish their own businesses, create employment opportunities and become economically independent.

Speaking on the initiative, Hon. Babanawo expressed appreciation to President John Dramani Mahama for his commitment to youth empowerment, skills development and job creation. She also commended the Youth Employment Agency for implementing the programme to support young people.

The DCE reaffirmed her commitment to supporting initiatives that provide sustainable economic opportunities and improve the livelihoods of residents in the Kwahu Afram Plains North District.

The distribution forms part of efforts to empower skilled young people with practical resources to put their training into use, establish businesses and contribute to local economic development.
