Sekyere Central Assembly Approves 2027 Composite Budget and Annual Action Plan

The Sekyere Central District Assembly, led by the District Chief Executive (DCE), Hon. Samuel Somuah, has approved its 2027 Composite Budget and Annual Action Plan at its Second Ordinary General Assembly Meeting of the Third Session of the Fifth Assembly, held on Thursday, October 29, 2026, at the District Assembly Conference Hall.

During the meeting, Hon. Samuel Somuah presented a comprehensive report on administrative initiatives, development projects and strategic programmes undertaken by the Assembly during the third quarter of 2026.

Members also considered and approved the Executive Committee Report, alongside the Assembly’s 2027 Composite Budget and Annual Action Plan, which will guide development priorities and resource allocation in the district.

The District Health Directorate also briefed members on the rollout of the Free Primary Healthcare Programme across the district, highlighting efforts to improve access to essential healthcare services.

The meeting ended with a shared commitment among Assembly members and stakeholders to strengthen collaboration and intensify efforts towards sustainable development in Sekyere Central District.
