The training, organised by the Assembly’s Human Resource Department in collaboration with the Western Regional Coordinating Council (WRCC), focused on key areas including the Local Governance Act, the structure of the Assembly, Performance Management and Local Government Service protocols.
The initiative forms part of efforts by the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Hon. Dr. Matthew Kofi Ayeh, and the Assembly to strengthen the capacity of staff and improve administrative efficiency.
The programme also provided participants with an opportunity to deepen their understanding of the rules, procedures and institutional frameworks that guide the operations of the Local Government Service.
The MCE's commitment to staff development is expected to support a more professional, accountable and efficient workforce capable of responding effectively to the needs of residents.
The Assembly reaffirmed its commitment to continuous staff development as a key strategy for promoting institutional effectiveness and improving service delivery across the municipality.
