The commissioning ceremony was led by the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Paulina Akabila, alongside the Eastern Regional Minister, Hon. Rita Akosua Adjei Awatey, and the Member of Parliament for the Lower West Akim Constituency, Hon. Owen Kwame Frimpong.

The new facility is expected to provide a safe, modern, and child-friendly learning environment for pupils while supporting effective teaching and learning at the kindergarten level.

Speaking at the event, Hon. Paulina Akabila described the project as another significant milestone in the Assembly's efforts to strengthen educational infrastructure and improve learning outcomes for children across the municipality.

She noted that investing in early childhood education remains a priority for the Assembly, emphasizing that quality educational facilities are essential to nurturing the next generation and laying a solid foundation for academic excellence.

The Municipal Chief Executive further stated that the completion of the project demonstrates the Assembly's unwavering commitment to expanding access to quality education and creating conducive learning environments for pupils and teachers alike.

The Eastern Regional Minister, Hon. Rita Akosua Adjei Awatey, commended the Assembly for prioritizing educational development and encouraged the school authorities, parents, and the Bunso community to take ownership of the facility by ensuring its proper maintenance.

Member of Parliament for the Lower West Akim Constituency, Hon. Owen Kwame Frimpong, reaffirmed his commitment to supporting initiatives that enhance education and improve the welfare of children within the constituency.

The newly commissioned kindergarten block is expected to ease classroom congestion, improve teaching and learning, and provide young learners in Bunso with a more conducive environment to begin their educational journey, contributing to the municipality's broader goal of delivering quality education for all.
