The new educational facility is expected to provide a conducive teaching and learning environment for pupils and teachers while addressing classroom accommodation challenges in the community. The ancillary facilities will also enhance the overall learning experience and support effective school management.
The project forms part of the Assembly's broader infrastructure development agenda, funded through the District Assemblies Common Fund (DACF), which seeks to improve access to essential public services across the district.
Speaking during the commissioning ceremony, Assembly officials reaffirmed their commitment to investing in educational infrastructure to ensure that every child has access to a safe and comfortable learning environment. They noted that the provision of modern school facilities remains a key priority in promoting quality education and supporting the district's socio-economic development.
Community members and education stakeholders welcomed the completion of the classroom block, describing it as a timely intervention that will help ease congestion in classrooms and create a more favourable atmosphere for teaching and learning.
The Asutifi South District Assembly reiterated its commitment to implementing more development projects in education, healthcare, roads, and other critical sectors to improve the living standards of residents and accelerate development across the district.
