MCE appeals for cooperations from traditional authorities

The Municipal Chief Executive of the Ejura Sekyedumase Municipal Assembly has appealed for full cooperation from all traditional authorities in the municipal in the discharge his mandate having been appointd and approved as the political head of the municipality.

Alhaji Mohammed Salisu Bamba, the MCE made the appeal when he visited all three traditional Councils in the municipality to introduce himself and familiarize with them.

He said the government for that matter the assembly is poised to deliver on its promises of development toimprove the living standards of the people but added that that feet cannot be achieved with the support of Nananom who are custodians of the land.

He assured them of his readiness to usefully engage them to share ideas towards the development of the municipality adding that his doors arealways opened to welcome suggestions, contributions that will make the municipality better.

At each of the palaces, Nananom also presented their grievances to the MCE and called for interventions in addressing them.
Nananom advised the MCE to involve Nananom in decision making or seek their advice in decision making.

They also advised him not to be partisan even though he was politically appointed and that he should be fair to all.

He visited the palaces of, Sekyedumase, Ejura, and Anyinasu Traditional Councils where he met the chiefs and elders including Nana Akwasi Awobaa I and his queenmother.

He was accompanied by some staff and some party officials.
