Volta Regional Minister Tours Development Projects and Joins Eid Celebration at Dzemeni

The James Gunu, together with the South Dayi District Chief Executive, Courage Kokroko, has visited key communities and development project sites in the South Dayi District of the Volta Region to assess ongoing works and identify the development needs of residents.

The tour took the delegation to the Dzemeni Market, the Ansuariya D/A Basic School, and the site for the Tongor Tsanakpe College of Health Sciences, where officials inspected progress and discussed challenges affecting the projects.

As part of the visit, the delegation also paid courtesy calls on traditional leaders, including Mamaga Tormelo IV and Torgbe Lisah I. Discussions centered on community development, youth empowerment, and the welfare of residents within the district.

Later in the day, the Minister and his team joined the Zongo community at Dzemeni to celebrate Eid festivities. Speaking on behalf of John Dramani Mahama, Hon. James Gunu commended the Muslim community for its contributions to national development and donated items to support the celebration.

The Zongo Chief, Alhaji Saritsi Omaro Hasume, expressed appreciation for the gesture and presented a lamb to the Minister as a sign of gratitude and goodwill.
