The project is aimed at addressing persistent water shortages in underserved communities, particularly in the Dadiesoaba and Nkaseim areas, where many residents continue to rely on unprotected water sources for their daily domestic needs.

Funded through the District Assemblies Common Fund (DACF), the intervention forms part of the Assembly's broader commitment to expanding access to essential social infrastructure and improving the living conditions of residents across the district.

The construction of the boreholes is expected to provide reliable sources of clean drinking water, reduce the incidence of waterborne diseases, and ease the burden on women and children who often travel long distances in search of water.
