Speaking in an interview with GhanaDistricts.com, Hon. Hamidu disclosed that the contractor, Kofi Job Construction, is currently on site executing the project and that work is progressing steadily. He said the Assembly is optimistic that the project will be completed on schedule and handed over to the appropriate authorities before the end of the year.
The DCE explained that the road project is being funded under the Government's Big Push infrastructure programme, an initiative aimed at accelerating the development of critical infrastructure across the country. He noted that the project demonstrates the government's commitment to improving road networks and enhancing connectivity in the Bosomtwe District.
According to Hon. Hamidu, the Assembly is working closely with Kofi Job Construction to ensure that the project is executed according to the required specifications and completed within the stipulated timeframe.

He emphasized that the completion of the road will serve as a major boost to the district's economy by facilitating the movement of people, goods and services. He noted that improved road infrastructure would reduce travel time and transportation costs, encourage trade, and create a more enabling environment for businesses and investors.
The DCE further stated that the project is expected to increase internally generated revenue through enhanced economic activities while improving access to markets, educational institutions, healthcare facilities and other essential services for residents of Bosomtwe and neighbouring communities.
Hon. Hamidu also expressed optimism that the improved road network would support the district's tourism potential by making it easier for visitors to access key attractions, thereby creating additional opportunities for local businesses and employment.
He appealed to residents and road users to cooperate with the contractor during the construction period and exercise patience with any temporary inconveniences. He assured the public that the completed road would have a lasting positive impact on the socio-economic development of the Bosomtwe District.
