AFIGYA K: Govt lauded for expanding LEAP programme

District Chief Executive for Afigya Kwabre in the Ashanti region, Mr. Kaakyire Oppong Kyekyeku has lauded Government and the Ministry of Gender Children and Social Protection for expanding the Livelihood Empowerment Against Poverty (LEAP) programme to other districts in the country.

The expansion, forms part of government’s intervention programmes aimed at eradicating financial barriers and also protecting the poor and vulnerable from the impoverishing effects of expenditures.
