The purpose of the training was to sharpen the skills of workers at the Zonal Council and equip them with knowledge on Strategic Management at the local level.

The Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Samuel Adongo, urged participants to take the training seriously to enable them work efficiently and effectively to enhance development in the New Juaben North Municipality.

He encouraged workers to diligently discharge their duties without fear nor favors devoid of politics.

The Municipal Coordinating Director, Mr. Anthony Kwenin urged the Staff of the Zonal Councils to take advantage of the training to enhance their knowledge with the requisite skills in handling their owned affairs.

Seventy two (72) zonal Council Members were taken through the local Governance Structure and its functions.

Participants were given the opportunity to ask questions which were addressed accordingly.
