The team comprised officials from the District Assembly, representatives from the Office of the Member of Parliament, Gizella Tetteh-Agbotui, as well as the project consultant and contractor.

The visit aimed to assess the project site and identify suitable alternative locations for the relocation of traders ahead of the commencement of construction works on the ultra-modern market.

The exercise is expected to facilitate a smooth transition for market women and men, ensuring minimal disruption to their economic activities while the project progresses.
