Among the key tourism sites is the renowned Crown Forest (Safari Park) located at Gomoa Nsuaem, which offers rich ecological scenery and wildlife experiences for nature lovers and adventure seekers.

The district is also home to the vibrant Gomoa Two-Weeks Festival, a cultural celebration that showcases the traditions, heritage, and identity of the people, attracting indigenes and visitors from across the country and beyond.

Other notable attractions include the Suaye Technology Centre at Gomoa Mpota, which highlights local innovation and skills development, as well as Ghana’s only Ghanaian-owned automobile company, adding an industrial tourism dimension to the district’s profile.

In addition, the mysterious stone at Asebu remains one of the intriguing natural landmarks believed to hold cultural and historical significance, further enriching the district’s tourism appeal.

Stakeholders say these diverse attractions present a major opportunity to boost tourism, create jobs, and stimulate local economic development if properly developed and promoted.

The Gomoa Central District Assembly has expressed commitment to partnering with stakeholders to harness these tourism potentials and transform the district into a competitive destination in Ghana’s tourism sector.
