DCE joins residents for national sanitation day in Juaboso District

The District Chief Executive for Juaboso, Mr. Alexander Adu-Quist, today joined residents of Sefwi Asempaneye, Breman, for a major clean-up exercise as part of the National Sanitation Day.

The nationwide initiative, aimed at promoting environmental cleanliness and proper sanitation, saw simultaneous activities across communities in the district, with the main event held at Sefwi Asempaneye.

 

Addressing the gathering, the DCE reinforced sanitation as a top priority of his administration. He emphasized that a clean environment is fundamental to public health and development.

 

"My administration is committed to making Juaboso one of the cleanest districts in Ghana," Mr. Adu-Quist stated. He urged residents to adopt responsible waste management practices and view sanitation as a continuous civic duty, not just a periodic exercise.

 

The DCE was accompanied by a team of district officials, including the Human Resource Manager, Madam Christiana Boateng; the District Environmental Health Officer; the NCCE Head; and officers from the Works Department and MIS Unit.

 

The event demonstrated strong community participation, highlighting a shared commitment to a cleaner, healthier environment for all.
