The gesture, captured in the Assembly’s 2025 Budget, is aimed at assisting members to either initiate new projects or complete ongoing ones within their electoral areas. It also seeks to revive stalled projects while encouraging Assembly Members who are yet to commence development initiatives to do so.
At a brief ceremony to hand over the items, the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Faustilove Appiah-Kannin, reaffirmed her administration’s commitment to bringing development to the doorsteps of the people through Assembly Members. She emphasized that the materials must be used strictly for their intended purposes, warning that any diversion would be unacceptable.
Hon. Faustilove commended the efforts of Assembly Members in their respective areas and urged them to continue working diligently to support the government’s grassroots development agenda.

Receiving the items on behalf of the Assembly Members, the Presiding Member, Hon. James Adabour, expressed appreciation to the Assembly for the initiative. He assured the MCE and management that the materials would be used judiciously and thanked the leadership for making the donation possible.
The ceremony was attended by key officials including Madam Joyce Akosua Angmorteh (Municipal Coordinating Director), Mr. Yahaya Zakaria (Finance Officer), Lawyer Prince Owusu Agyemang (Development Planning Officer), Mr. Henry Yeboah (Head of Administrative Unit), Mr. Francis Addae (Internal Auditor), Mr. Joseph Sam (Aide to the MCE), and Mr. Ernest Kofi Offen (Municipal Information Officer).
This initiative underscores the Assembly’s determination to strengthen community development and empower local leadership to deliver tangible results for residents.
