District Leadership Inspects Key Development Projects

In line with the national vision of ensuring equitable development, the District Chief Executive (DCE), Hon. Ernest Adevor, led a high-level team on an inspection tour of ongoing projects across the district on Thursday, 29 January 2026.

The delegation, which included the Coordinating Director, Mr. Jones Sedzro; the District Engineer, Mr. Courage Agbesi; and officers from planning, procurement, and audit units, assessed progress, reviewed quality standards, and verified completion timelines to ensure efficient use of resources.

Projects Visited Include:

· Tsyome Sabadu: A newly constructed mechanised borehole at the local health facility.
· Aveme Enclave: Two new mechanised boreholes and one repaired borehole nearing completion.
· Aveme Resettlement D/A School: Construction of a three-unit classroom block ongoing.
· Anfoega Akukorme and Denui: Health posts with ancillary facilities at 52% and 68% completion respectively.
· Aveti: Provision of a new mechanised borehole.
· Anfoega Dzana: A semi-detached two-bedroom bungalow (76% complete) and a residential facility for the DCE under construction.
· Vakpo Secondary Technical School: Dining hall project approximately 95% complete.
· Tsrukpe: Community-based Health Planning and Services (CHPS) compound about 77% complete.
· Botoku Technical School: A three-unit classroom block with staff common room roughly 80% finished.

During a visit to Botoku Technical School, Hon. Adevor engaged with students, advising them to remain focused and disciplined in their studies. He emphasized that their technical skills are vital for personal and national development, offering strong prospects in the job market.

The inspection reaffirms the district’s commitment to transparent and impactful project execution for the benefit of all residents.
