The donation, made earlier today, comprised 145 dual desks, 30 kindergarten hexagonal tables with chairs, and 20 sets of tables and chairs for teachers, aimed at enhancing teaching and learning conditions, particularly in underserved communities.
Presenting the items, Hon. Somuah emphasized that the government remains resolute in eliminating the long-standing “no desk” syndrome in public schools. He noted that continuous investment in classroom furniture and educational infrastructure is central to improving learning outcomes and ensuring a conducive environment for pupils and teachers.

According to the DCE, the Assembly will continue to collaborate with stakeholders to address challenges confronting the education sector and raise standards across the district.
