Strategic intervention announced to enhance technical education at Ejuraman Technical Institute – Dir. Gen of TVET

The Director General of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET), Engr. Dr. Eric Kofi Adzroe, paid a working visit to the Ejura Sekyedumase municipality, welcomed by local leaders.

The visit began with a courtesy call on the Ejura Traditional Council, led by Barima Osei Hwedie II, before the delegation proceeded to Ejuraman Technical Institute for an official ceremony.

In his address, the Member of Parliament for Ejura Sekyedumase, Hon. Alhaji Dr. Bawa Braima, revealed his successful lobbying efforts for the institute. As a Member of Parliament’s Education Committee, he championed a strategic intervention to strengthen TVET in the municipality.

"I am pleased to announce that Ejuraman Technical Institute has been selected for well-equipped developmental projects," stated Hon. Braima. "This is aimed at significantly enhancing teaching and learning outcomes in technical education here."

The Director General, Engr. Dr. Adzroe, emphasized the national importance of the initiative. "This intervention underscores our collective commitment to skills development and youth empowerment," he said. "Quality technical education is a vital catalyst for both local and national economic growth."

The Ejura Sekyedumase Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Rafiu Adam Seidu, acknowledged the collaborative effort. He extended gratitude to the MP, the TVET leadership, and the government for prioritizing the institute's upgrade.

The project is expected to provide modern tools and facilities, equipping students with relevant skills for the job market and entrepreneurship.
