Mr. Nketia explained that the school’s existing toilet facility had become dilapidated and unfit for use, making it necessary to replace it with a modern facility. The project is aimed at addressing sanitation challenges while promoting the well-being, comfort and academic performance of both pupils and staff.

The Headmaster of T.I. Ahmadiyya Basic School, Mr. Paul Nachipu Isor, expressed deep appreciation to the MCE for prioritising the school for the project. He described the intervention as a major boost, especially given the number of schools within the Municipality.

Speaking to the media, Mr. Isor said the school management and the surrounding community were delighted with the development, noting that the new facility would significantly enhance sanitation and the overall learning environment.

While commending the MCE for the initiative, Mr. Isor appealed to the Municipal Chief Executive and the Member of Parliament for the area, Mr. Nelson Kofi Djabab, to also support the school with improved classroom infrastructure.

He explained that inadequate classrooms continue to pose challenges for both pupils and teachers and urged the authorities to consider the school’s pressing need for more conducive learning spaces.
