KoKMA Removes Illegal Metal Barriers to Improve Drainage in Adabraka

The Korle Klottey Municipal Assembly (KoKMA), through its Works Department, has uncovered and removed several metal barriers deliberately installed in side drains around the Adabraka GOIL area.

The barriers, which had been concealed under concrete, obstructed the free flow of stormwater through the drainage system.

Their removal has restored the flow of stormwater and is expected to improve drainage in the area while reducing the risk of flooding, particularly during heavy rainfall.

The intervention forms part of efforts by the Assembly to address drainage challenges and improve flood management within the municipality.
