Korle Klottey Assembly Receives NADMO Relief Items to Support Flood Victims
The Korle Klottey Municipal Assembly (KoKMA) has received relief items from the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO) to provide immediate assistance to residents affected by the recent flooding in parts of the municipality.

The intervention forms part of ongoing efforts to support vulnerable households and help affected communities recover from the impact of the floods.
Receiving the items on behalf of the Assembly, the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Hon. Alfred Allotey-Gaisie, expressed gratitude to NADMO for the prompt response and continued support to flood-affected residents.
He described the relief package as a timely intervention that would bring much-needed relief to victims who suffered losses during the flooding.
Hon. Allotey-Gaisie assured residents that the Assembly would ensure the relief items are distributed fairly, transparently, and strictly to those most affected by the disaster.
He reiterated the Assembly's commitment to working closely with NADMO and other stakeholders to provide humanitarian assistance, strengthen disaster preparedness, and enhance the municipality's resilience against future flood incidents.
The MCE also encouraged residents to cooperate with the Assembly and relevant agencies by keeping drains free from refuse and observing environmental sanitation measures to help reduce the risk of flooding.
The Korle Klottey Municipal Assembly reaffirmed its commitment to safeguarding lives and property through effective collaboration with disaster management agencies while continuing to implement measures that protect vulnerable communities from the devastating effects of flooding.
