The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Hon. Jerryne Asante, inaugurated the project alongside the Chief of Adadientem, Nana Adom Puni II, and the Presiding Member of the Municipal Assembly, Hon. Helena Mensah.

The facility, which was initiated by the previous administration, has been completed by the current government.

Prior to the commissioning, a delegation including the MCE, Coordinating Director Samuel Badu-Baiden, the Presiding Member, NDC party executives from the Manhyia Ampabame electoral area, and assembly officials paid a courtesy call on the Chief and his elders at the palace.

In her address, Hon. Jerryne Asante urged community members to take good care of the facility. “I admonish you to practice a strong maintenance culture so that you can enjoy the full life-span of this project,” she stated.

The Presiding Member and Assemblywoman for the electoral area, Hon. Helena Mensah, expressed her elation at the completion of the project. She emphasized that the facility would significantly address the problem of open defecation in the community and echoed the call for its proper maintenance.

During the ceremony, Nananom, represented by the Gyasihene, Nana Kwame Ofori Amanfo, and the Bekumhene, Nana Antwi Boasiako, alongside other sub-chiefs, seized the opportunity to request a mechanized borehole for the community’s new-site and a new refuse dump.

The requests were made to support the area's fast-growing population. In response, the MCE pledged to fulfill the request for the mechanized borehole promptly.
