The event, held under the theme “Putting Smiles on The Faces of Children During Christmas,” was organized in partnership with the GADOL Women Ministry, the ENT Unit at Tanoso Apatrapa, and Cowbell Company Ltd. Additional support was provided by Nungua Warehouse, individual benefactors, and media partners Oyerepa FM, Okese FM, Hello FM, Otec FM, and Angel FM.
Children were treated to a day filled with music, choreography, games, face painting, and refreshments. A key feature of the celebration was a free ear, nose, and throat (ENT) screening conducted by nurses. Children with minor infections received on-site treatment, while those requiring further care were given referral notes to the Ejisu Government Hospital.

In an address, the President of GADOL Women Ministry, Pastor Felicia Maame Efua Eduah—who also serves as a Deputy Director of Nursing in charge of Public Health at the Municipal Directorate—explained the partnership. “We believe all children are under the care of our traditional authorities, and collaborating to bring them joy at Christmas is a natural extension of that,” she said.

She noted that the ministry regularly partners with traditional councils across the region for similar annual outreach programs. The ministry also took the opportunity to share spiritual encouragement with the children, urging them to embrace faith for guidance in their future endeavors.
The celebration successfully created a festive atmosphere, fulfilling its mission of spreading Christmas cheer to the young ones of Ejisu.
