New DZOSEC Headmistress Seeks Enhanced Collaboration with Ketu North Assembly

The visit, which formed part of her familiarisation and assumption-of-office activities, provided an opportunity for discussions on the school's development, strategies to improve academic performance, and measures to address challenges confronting the institution.
Ms. Sessi expressed appreciation to the Municipal Assembly for its continued support for education and pledged to work closely with stakeholders to position DZOSEC among the leading second-cycle institutions in the Volta Region.
She reaffirmed her commitment to promoting discipline, improving teaching and learning outcomes, and creating a conducive environment for academic excellence and the holistic development of students.
According to her, achieving sustainable progress at the school would require strong partnerships among the Assembly, parents, alumni, staff, and the wider community.
“I am committed to working with all stakeholders to transform the fortunes of DZOSEC. Together, we can address the challenges facing the school and build a stronger institution that will continue to serve the educational needs of the municipality,” she said.
Reverend Martin Amenaki, the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Ketu North, welcomed the new Headmistress and assured her of the Assembly’s support for initiatives aimed at improving educational standards in the municipality.
He described education as a critical driver of local development and reiterated the Assembly’s commitment to collaborating with educational institutions to improve infrastructure, strengthen discipline, and enhance academic performance.
Rev. Amenaki encouraged Ms. Sessi to maintain strong engagement with stakeholders and adopt innovative approaches that would contribute to the growth and success of the school.
“The Assembly remains committed to supporting DZOSEC and other educational institutions within the municipality. We believe quality education is essential for the development of our communities and the nation as a whole,” he stated.
The MCE also expressed confidence in Ms. Sessi’s leadership and wished her success in her new role.
Mr. Bernard Sakyiama, the Ketu North Municipal Coordinating Director, also welcomed the Headmistress and pledged the Assembly’s administrative support towards the advancement of the school.
He noted that effective collaboration between educational institutions and local authorities remained crucial to addressing challenges and promoting sustainable development within the education sector.
The meeting provided a platform for both parties to exchange ideas on improving discipline, enhancing academic performance, and exploring areas of cooperation to strengthen teaching and learning at DZOSEC.
