Ayawaso North Assembly Welcomes Pupils with ‘My First Day at School’ Outreach

The Ayawaso North Municipal Assembly has successfully organised a “My First Day at School” outreach programme to warmly welcome pupils as they began the new academic term.

The initiative was led by the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Hon. Awal Haruna, together with the Municipal Coordinating Director, Deputy Coordinating Director, and other staff of the Assembly.


The delegation visited selected schools within the municipality, where they interacted with pupils, teachers, and school authorities.

As part of the exercise, the Assembly donated educational materials to the pupils to support their learning and encourage them to take their education seriously.


The officials also offered words of encouragement to the pupils, urging them to remain disciplined, attend school regularly, respect their teachers, and work hard towards achieving their dreams.


School authorities expressed their appreciation to the Ayawaso North Municipal Assembly for the gesture and its continued support for education within the municipality.


The “My First Day at School” initiative forms part of the Assembly’s efforts to promote quality education and create a positive and supportive learning environment for children across Ayawaso North.
